Trend: Bows
This week I wanted to use some left over materials as I did not feel up to going supply shopping. Good thing I found this fabulous bow charm lying around! Did I mention I got it a couple weeks ago for under $2.00!? I’ve been waiting to use it when the inspiration struck me right, and this was that moment. I never truly understood how to use chains when making jewelry until pretty recently. The trick is to use a pair of pliers to pull apart links in the chain. You’ll need to pull links apart when attaching charms and when shortening your chain. Once you know this, the possibilities are endless! I used a bow charm here, but feel free to use one you like or one you have. Have fun with the design process and enjoy! 🙂

Thanks Camilla for the compliment! I love the sound of that “DIY heaven” 🙂
this is really cute 🙂 btw i have a question…and i don’t know who else to ask but a diy queen 😛 umm so i’m thinking to start doing some diy with like recycled bottles and empty tissue roles and what not and i was wondering if i were to stick something, anything on it will i need a glue gun for that?? or a super glue? normal glue? i’m so lost even before getting anything started.. haha
haha thanks Annie! First of all I love that you think I’m a “diy queen!” 🙂 I would definitely use a glue gun (if you never used one don’t worry they are easy to use). You could also use super glue but it could get messy (messy as in accidentally glueing yourself to a bottle lol). That sounds like such a cool project though, I can’t wait to see what you make! 🙂
ohhhhh so people use glue gun for the easi-ness (and safety lol) of it.. aha! thank you for the tip!!! hehe
Wow really pretty!
