Trend:Gingham
I know I just made a tote using gingham but I just love this material! The hardest part of this tutorial might be finding the frame. You can usually find this sort of handbag hardware in the sewing section of your local crafts store. The trick to sewing any kind of frame on is to make sure there are holes in it for sewing. You make everything look so easy! I’d love to make a larger version to use as a makeup bag. Does a store like Michaels carry the frame in assorted sizes? Or can I order online?
That’s such a good idea! The Michaels by me used to have them. I haven’t seen any frames there recently though so I got this one online. It was way cheaper than I expected too ( shipping cost more than the actual frame lol)
