Trend: Mosaic
If mosaic tiles are not considered a trend as of now, they definitely should be soon. These tiles add great vivacity to an otherwise plain home accessory. I saw the materials in Michaels, and the project just came to me! It was perfect timing too, as Mother’s Day is right around the corner. What Mom wouldn’t enjoy a homemade tchotchke from their kid? I added these funky blue marbles to fill in the planter, but any kind of plant would also be lovely. You can’t go wrong with a home made gift, especially one as easy to make as this!
