Project: Couture Safety Pins

Trend: Couture

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I get a lot of my inspiration from couture shows and the fashion industry.  This latest project is no different as it was inspired by some accessories and pins I saw from the fall runway shows.  This is a super simple and easy project to pull off, I truly believe anyone can do it!  So if you have got the materials and the time I highly recommend this project.  The finished pins can be put on anything from sweaters to handbags and is the perfect accessory for fall.  Have fun and get creative! 🙂

This is a really lovely idea and reminds me of how my mum used to collect antique/vintage buttons to sew onto modern pieces 🙂
